Herring Salad
The perfect herring salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Bismarck herrings
- 70 g Mayonnaise stretched salad dressing
- Onion red
- 60 g Pickled cucumber pickled. drained
- 1 medium-sized Apple
- Salt and pepper
- Sugar
- Dab the Bismarck herrings and cut into 1cm wide strips. Mix the mayonnaise with a little cucumber stock and fold in the fish.
- Peel off the onion and cut into fine cubes like the pickles. Wash, clean, quarter and core the apple and cut into thin wedges. Fold everything into the fish mix. Season the herring salad with salt, pepper and sugar. Arrange the herring salad on plates. We also had grain toasties.
