Ingredients

  • 1 Glass Bismarck herring 500 g (250g sample weight)
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 4 piece Pickled gherkins pickled
  • 0,75 piece Sweet and sour apple
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 3 tablespoon 7 herb vinegar
  • 100 Milliliters Sour cucumber juice
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 0,5 tablespoon Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar

Instructions

preparation

  • Drain the biscuit herring and cut into small bite-sized pieces. Halve the onion and cut into fine rings, cut the half apple and the pickled cucumbers into fine cubes, prepare all other ingredients.

preparation

  • Mix the sour cream and sour cream, add the vinegar and the sour cucumber water and stir together. Add the bismark herring, onion, pickled cucumber and apple and mix everything together. Finally, season with salt, pepper and sugar (the information in the recipe is approximate). Let the herring tip "steep" in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours (preferably overnight).

Tips

  • If you like, you can add some dill and chives. If the sauce is not liquid enough, you should add some of the cucumber water. It goes well with crispy fried potatoes with bacon, jacket potatoes or black bread with butter.
