Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 375 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 apples, preferably Boskoop
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Pastry with apples

Mix flour, sugar, eggs and milk into a nice batter. Let the batter rest until the apples have been peeled and chopped into small pieces. It is important to chop the apples into small pieces so that the Scheppkreppel cook well in the pan. Mix the batter and apples well again. Add oil to a pan and heat up. Cook the first few patties at a high temperature so that the pan is nice and hot. Be careful not to let them burn. Then turn the temperature down considerably. Fry the Scheppkreppel until golden brown. Use a potato scoop to give them a nice size. About four Scheppkreppel fit in a pan with a diameter of 28 cm. Add a splash of oil to the pan after each batch. They taste delicious warm, but also the next day.
