Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Halve the sausages. Mix the tomato paste, anchovy paste, garlic paste, and chili paste until smooth. Carefully separate the puff pastry sheets, remove the release paper, and place them individually on the work surface. While they thaw, spread half with cream cheese and the other half with the tomato paste mixture. Place the halved sausages on top, sprinkle with the fried onions and grated cheese. Fold the puff pastry over the long sides and fix with water. Fold the ends in the same way to form a roll. Brush with egg yolk and lightly score with a sharp knife. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 25-30 minutes, until the desired browning is achieved. Ideal as a snack for birthdays or guys’ nights out. Serve with spicy horseradish and ketchup.
