Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g flour
- 150 g butter
- 1 egg(s)
- 150 g sugar
- 125 g powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- Jam, red
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Make a dough from flour, butter, egg, and sugar. Chill for 1 hour. Roll out the dough thinly, cut out round cookies and rings. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 160°C until golden brown. Once cooled, spread the underside of the cookies with red jam. Decorate the rings with a white icing made from powdered sugar and water or with decorative powdered sugar and place them on the jam-covered side of the cookies.
