Homemade Cooked Cheese with Caraway Seeds and Garlic

The perfect homemade cooked cheese with caraway seeds and garlic recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 packet Hand cheese
  • 250 g Butter
  • 1 packet Cream cheese
  • 200 ml Cream 30% fat
  • 100 ml Condensed milk 7.5% fat
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tl Baking soda
  • Caraway seeds
  • Fresh garlic
  1. Cut butter and hand cheese into pieces in a large saucepan and melt over low heat – stir again and again – stir until the mixture is smooth – add processed cheese-cream-sour cream-condensed milk while stirring constantly – stir in soda – stir until no more bubbles come – the mass should not cool down –
  2. Roast the cumin a little bit without fat until it smells – then put in a mill – peel the garlic and cut into cubes in the garlic cutter (or by hand) stir both into the still warm cooked cheese to taste – fill the finished cooked cheese into screw glasses or bowls and cold put –
  3. the cooked cheese is nice and creamy and tastes best on fresh bread – we also eat radish and chives –
