Homemade Cooked Cheese with Caraway Seeds and Garlic
The perfect homemade cooked cheese with caraway seeds and garlic recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 packet Hand cheese
- 250 g Butter
- 1 packet Cream cheese
- 200 ml Cream 30% fat
- 100 ml Condensed milk 7.5% fat
- 200 g Sour cream
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Tl Baking soda
- Caraway seeds
- Fresh garlic
- Cut butter and hand cheese into pieces in a large saucepan and melt over low heat – stir again and again – stir until the mixture is smooth – add processed cheese-cream-sour cream-condensed milk while stirring constantly – stir in soda – stir until no more bubbles come – the mass should not cool down –
- Roast the cumin a little bit without fat until it smells – then put in a mill – peel the garlic and cut into cubes in the garlic cutter (or by hand) stir both into the still warm cooked cheese to taste – fill the finished cooked cheese into screw glasses or bowls and cold put –
- the cooked cheese is nice and creamy and tastes best on fresh bread – we also eat radish and chives –
