Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes (Rosalie)
  • 5 tbsp oil (peanut oil)
  • 2 tbsp sea salt, mixed with sweet paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash and peel the potatoes, and place them in water. Dry each potato and slice, then cut into sticks. In a large, shallow baking dish, coat with peanut oil, place the sticks in it, sprinkle with the salt mixture, and mix well to ensure the mixture adheres evenly. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 50 minutes. Turn the sticks over every 10 minutes and add a little more oil if necessary.
