Homemade granola muesli

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g honey
  • 1 tbsp oil, e.g. sunflower oil
  • ½ tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g oat flakes
  • 60 g sunflower seeds
  • 50 g walnuts, chopped
  • 45 g sesame seeds
  • 80 g desiccated coconut

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Spread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 120°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40 minutes until light golden brown. Stir the muesli occasionally with a fork during baking. Don’t bake the muesli too darkly, as this can make it bitter. Let it cool – this is when it will become really crispy. Then transfer it to an airtight container. The muesli will keep for about four weeks. It tastes great with milk, quark, or natural yogurt. Raisins or any kind of fruit can be added, if desired.
