the healthy alternative

Peel, dice, and sauté the onions. Then dice the garlic and bell peppers and add them to the onions. Add the passata to the pot and simmer everything together for an hour. Roughly puree everything and pass half of it through a fine sieve. Combine everything again, add the sugar, wine, and vinegar, and simmer a little longer. Pour the hot tomato mixture into clean jars, seal tightly, and place in the oven at 100°C for a quarter to half an hour. Then let it cool. This healthy ketchup is a great alternative for all ages, whether for barbecues or with pasta. It keeps for about a year.
