Homemade spaetzle

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 150 ml water
  • butter
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Combine all dough ingredients. Beat until the dough bubbles. The dough should be thick and sticky. Let it rest for 10 minutes. Boil salted water, press the dough in portions through the spaetzle press (into the boiling water). Bring back to a boil briefly, remove with a slotted spoon, and refresh in cold water. Drain well. To serve, bake in butter. Season with salt.
