Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 slices of toast, including wholemeal toast
- 50 g butter
- 1 tbsp spice mix for herb butter, or herb butter
- 1 garlic clove(s), optional
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Remove the crust from the toast and cut the soft part into cubes. Melt the butter in a hot pan, stir in your chosen seasoning mix and, if desired, a crushed garlic clove. Add the toast cubes and mix well. Toast over medium heat to your liking, turning frequently. We like these croutons best with lamb’s lettuce.
