Homemade strawberry ice cream without an ice cream maker

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 300 g strawberries, frozen
  • 200 g yogurt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ¼ lemon peel
  • 1 handful of mint or basil, as desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Place the frozen strawberries in a blender and blend thoroughly with the yogurt, honey, and lemon zest until the desired consistency is reached. If desired, stir in some finely chopped mint or basil. Pour the ice cream into glasses and serve immediately or store in the freezer, but let it thaw briefly before eating. Note: Enjoy a refreshing summer treat with this delicious strawberry ice cream. This recipe is super easy to make at home, and the best part is: you don’t even need an ice cream maker. It takes less than 10 minutes to make the ice cream. Note: If you prefer a different flavor to strawberry, you can substitute it with raspberries or bananas, for example.
