Homemade teriyaki sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 ml soy sauce
  • 50 ml water
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 4 garlic cloves

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely chop the garlic cloves and mix with the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil in a small saucepan until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce thickens. You can use less garlic if you like. Makes about 150 ml.
