Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- 1 tsp sambal oelek
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp oil
- 2 cloves garlic, whole
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 clove(s) garlic, chopped
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok. Mix the chicken breast strips with 1/4 of the sambal and cornstarch and fry briefly, remove and set aside. Add another 1 tablespoon of oil to the wok and fry the garlic cloves until lightly browned. Add the broccoli florets and a little water. Season with salt and pepper and cover. After 4 1/2 minutes, arrange the broccoli on a preheated plate. Add another 1 tablespoon of oil to the wok, fry the chopped garlic and the rest of the sambal, and add the honey and sesame seeds. To serve: Once the honey is foaming, add the breasts and mix well. Arrange in the center of the broccoli.
