Honey fig on yogurt

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 fig(s), fresh, ripe
  • 25 g butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 150 g Greek yogurt
  • ¼ vanilla pod(s), including the pulp
  • some cinnamon powder
  • some cardamom powder
  • ½ tbsp nuts, roasted

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Rinse the figs, dry thoroughly, remove the dry stems, and quarter the fruit. Melt the butter in a small pan, add the honey, and caramelize the fig pieces over low heat. Season the yogurt with vanilla seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, and honey, if desired. Serve the yogurt well chilled with the warm figs, drizzled with the remaining honey-butter mixture, and sprinkled with the nuts.
