Honey Mustard Poultry

The perfect honey mustard poultry recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Chicken legs
  • 2 Chicken drumsticks
  • 4 tbsp Honey
  • 4 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Mustard seeds
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Lemon
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 Freeze bag
  1. Mix the mustard, honey and olive oil well. Finely grate the garlic cloves and add the mustard seeds. Rub in the lemon peel and squeeze half a lemon and add the juice as well, stir everything well and season with salt and pepper. Mix everything very well.
  2. Now put the chicken pieces in the freezer bag and add the marinade. Close the freezer bag and then spread the marinade well with your hands and then put everything in the refrigerator for at least an hour, the longer the better. Now and then turn the bag over.
  3. Then take the bag out of the refrigerator, place the chicken pieces in an ovenproof dish, put the remaining marinade in a small bowl and set aside. Put the ovenproof dish into the oven, which has been preheated to 180 degrees, and leave it in it for approx. 40 – 45 minutes. Brush the marinade every now and then.
  4. We simply had a tomato-parsley salad and baguette with it.
