Honey mustard sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g sweet cream
  • 6 tbsp liquid honey
  • 4 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 2 tbsp vinegar essence
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce, dark
  • 2 bunches of dill

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring the cream to a boil, whisking in the honey, mustard, vinegar essence, and soy sauce. Simmer over low heat for about 6 minutes. Stir in the finely chopped dill and pour the mixture into a prepared twist-off jar while still hot. If refrigerated, the sauce will keep for about 8 weeks. This sauce pairs perfectly with smoked fish and meat, or with a ripe avocado, for example.
