Honey-Nut-Lemon Muffins

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 220 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp allspice, ground
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), peel
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 50 g hazelnuts, chopped, roasted
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 150 ml milk
  • 50 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Preheat oven to 175°C and grease a muffin tin thoroughly or line it with paper baking cups. Combine flour, baking powder, allspice, sugar, hazelnuts, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Whisk together honey, milk, and butter and stir into the flour mixture. Pour the batter into the muffin tins and bake in the oven for about 25 minutes.
