Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 150 g butter
- 100 g marzipan – raw mass
- 120 g powdered sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
- 180 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- some baking soda
- Salt
- some cinnamon
- 200 g ground almonds
- 50 g desiccated coconut
- 100 g cream
- 50 g marzipan – raw mass
- powdered sugar
- 100 g chocolate coating, whole milk
- 6 tbsp desiccated coconut
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line the muffin tin with paper baking cups. Mix the butter and marzipan in a bowl, gradually stirring in the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, almonds, and coconut flakes. Gradually stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture. Lightly whip the cream and fold it into the batter. Divide the batter between the muffins and bake in the oven for about 25 minutes until golden brown. Let the muffins cool for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, roll out the marzipan with a little powdered sugar and cut out stars. Heat the chocolate coating in a bain-marie and spread it over the muffins. Place the marzipan stars on the muffins and sprinkle with the coconut flakes (to form snow).
