Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter apple juice, clear
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 tsp gingerbread spice
  • 4 carnations

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

great when it’s cold outside

Combine the sugar and apple juice in a saucepan, heat, and stir to dissolve the sugar. Add the gingerbread spice, cinnamon, and cloves (it works best if you put the gingerbread spice and cloves in one of those long tea bags or tea filters) and bring to a boil briefly. Then, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Tip: For adults, this also works well with cider. It’s also easy to make in larger batches.
