Hot chocolate with marshmallows

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa, unsweetened
  • 80 g dark chocolate (you can also use milk chocolate, but it will quickly become too sweet if you use marshmallows)
  • e.g. chocolate syrup
  • e.g. mini marshmallows
  • e.g. whipped cream or spray cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Hot chocolate

First, combine milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, and chopped dark chocolate in a small saucepan. We won’t add any extra sugar at this point, as the marshmallows will provide enough sweetness at the end. While stirring, heat the milk until the chocolate has melted. Be careful not to let it boil. By then, your hot chocolate will be almost ready. If you like, you can also top with mini marshmallows, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup.
