- 4 slices of toast
- 1 sausage (Wiener)
- 2 slice(s) cheese , (sliced cheese)
- Mustard
- ketchup
- Sauce (Hot Dog Sauce)
Instructions
Working time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 6 minutes
if you want to avoid the soft rolls
Cut the sausage into slices as thick as a loaf of toast. Punch holes the size of the sausage slices into two of the slices of toast (e.g., using the lid of a tomato paste tube). Fill the holes with the sausage slices. Then, place all the slices in the toaster for about two minutes. Spread the melted cheese and sauces to taste on the unbroken slices. Then, place the “sausage toast lids” on top. If you like, garnish with pickles and/or fried onions.
