a recipe from the school kitchen
Spread the bread slices with butter and top with salami slices. Halve the washed leek lengthwise and cut into thin strips. Dice the tomatoes. Melt the margarine in a pan, add the bacon, then the leek, and finally the tomatoes, and fry. Season to taste with ketchup, salt, and pepper. Spread the bacon and vegetable mixture on the salami bread, sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake in the oven at 200°C until the cheese is light brown. The amount of salami can, of course, vary as desired and always depends on the size of the bread and your personal preferences, as does the grated cheese!
