- 8 Quinces
- 200 g Sugar
- 100 ml Water
- 200 g Ground walnuts
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
- Bring the water and sugar to the boil, simmer for about 2 minutes. Add the water-sugar mixture to the ground walnuts. You have to make sure that it doesn’t get too runny. If necessary, add some ground walnuts.
- Wash quilts and hollow out. Pour the prepared filling into the opening. Put the quinces in an ovenproof dish and close with the lid.
- Bake the quinces in the oven until the quinces are soft. You can see this when they burst open easily. A dollop of whipped cream goes well with the hot quinces.
