Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 slice(s) lemon(s), untreated
  • 3 cloves, whole
  • 1 ½ tsp sugar
  • 2 cl Irish whiskey (e.g. Tullamore Dew)
  • Water, freshly boiled, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

This is intended for a standard whiskey glass (tumbler). Boil water while warming the glass. Pour hot water into the glass, about half to three-quarters full, and dissolve the sugar in it. Add the whiskey, lemon slice, and cloves and serve immediately while hot.
