“This sweet and sour berry is very tasty and healthy. It contains a whole range of vitamins: A, B1, B2, E, and C. The smell of strawberries is one of the important factors when choosing.

“Smell the strawberries – a good berry smells good. If you smell any foreign odor, it’s better not to buy it,” explains the artist.

The main thing about strawberries is not their shape, but their color, what kind of grains they have, and what kind of roots they have.

“The most delicious berries are bright, but not dark. The tails should be dry, but easy to tear off. The grains should be immersed in the berry. But you don’t need to pay much attention to the shape,” says Yulia.

Unfortunately, the strawberries that look perfect are almost certainly treated with chemicals, and they are the most dangerous.

“Most often, everyone chooses the perfect-looking strawberry. You shouldn’t buy one of those! They have definitely been treated with nitrates and contain many harmful substances. Also, the berries should be dry and have a natural color and appearance,” she says.

The most important thing is that Yulia recommends not abusing early strawberries, as they can be poisoned. It is better to introduce these delicious berries into your diet gradually.
