Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 200 g butter
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 5 eggs
- 200 g walnuts, grated
- 1 tbsp Flour, strong
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 225 g jam (cranberry jam)
- 2 tbsp rum
- 250 ml whipped cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Nut cake with cranberries
Combine all ingredients to make a batter. Line the bottom of a 26 cm diameter cake tin with baking paper. Grease and flour the paper. Do not grease the sides of the tin. Bake the mixture on the second rack (convection oven) at 150°C for about 50 minutes. Once cooled, turn the cake out, remove the paper, and spread the top with cranberry jam mixed with the rum. Decorate with whipped cream.
