Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 iceberg lettuce
  • 1 small apple
  • 1 orange(s)
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 3 tbsp vinegar (e.g. Salata)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp mustard or mustard powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • some pepper
  • some thyme
  • 1 box of cress

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

fruity and refreshing

Trim, wash, and spin dry the iceberg lettuce. Dice the apple, peel the orange, remove the white pith, and cut into pieces. Dice the onion and garlic clove. Mix the vinegar with the mustard powder or 1 teaspoon of medium-hot mustard, salt, pepper, sugar, and thyme. Now add the onion and garlic, pour in the olive oil, and mix well. Fold in the iceberg lettuce, apple, and orange. Season the salad to taste and either fold in the cress or sprinkle it over the salad.
