Iced coffee in vanilla milk

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter espresso
  • 2 vanilla pods or 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 750 ml milk
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Prepare the coffee the day before and freeze in ice cream scoop bags. Score the vanilla pods lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Pour 500ml of milk into a saucepan, add the vanilla seeds and hollowed-out vanilla pods, and bring to a boil. Remove the vanilla pods. Divide the vanilla milk among glasses and let cool. Froth the remaining milk. Remove the coffee ice cream scoops from the bags and arrange them on top of the vanilla milk. Spoon the milk foam over the ice cream and add sugar as desired. Serve immediately.
