Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 tea bags, any variety
  • 1 kg sugar
  • 1 liter of water
  • 25 g citric acid

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

very easy to make yourself, few ingredients

Bring the water with the tea bags to a boil, cover, and let steep for one hour. Remove the tea bags and squeeze well. Bring back to a boil with the sugar and citric acid until the sugar dissolves. While still boiling hot, pour into clean jars. The sugar and citric acid preserve the syrup.
