Ingredients for 3 servings:
- ½ onion(s), finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper(s), finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- ½ bunch basil, fresh or dried
- 450 g tomatoes
- 450g pasta
- 35 g tomato paste
- 950 ml water
- some chili sauce
- some black pepper, for sprinkling
- some basil, for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
in the Instant Pot, vegan, high carb, low fat
Sauté the onions, bell peppers, garlic, and basil for about 5 minutes on the sauté program. Then add the tomatoes and sauté briefly. Then add the water, tomato paste, chili sauce, and pasta and cook on the manual program for 8 minutes, or just 6 minutes for al dente. Release the pressure and top the pasta with fresh basil and black pepper.
