Illustrative Salad with Warm Tomatoes

The perfect illustrative salad with warm tomatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Pc. Chicken breasts
  • 2 Panicles Cherry tomatoes with panicle
  • 1 Glass Salsify
  • 2 tbsp Pickled zucchini
  • 50 g Chilli cheese
  • 2 Pc. Eggs
  • 50 g Iceberg lettuce fresh
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 Pc. Butter
  • 1 branch Rosemary fresh
  • 1 branch Wild garlic leaves & blossom
  • Rose paprika powder
  • Salt from the mill
  • Pepper from the grinder
  1. Season the chicken breasts with rose paprika, a little salt and pepper from the mill. Heat the oil in a pan when it is hot enough to fry the chicken breasts. Wash the tomato with the panicle and drain. Grate the cheese, put the black salsify in a saucepan, bring to the boil once, drain and drain. Open a jar of my preserved zucchini and take out a few pieces. Boiling eggs, soft or hard is up to you. I personally like it soft but this time I missed the right time.
  2. In the meantime, the chicken breasts are ready for me to swap them for the cherry tomatoes. Take the breasts out of the pan and put the tomatoes in, add a little butter and fry lightly on a low heat, only as much as the skin of the tomatoes cracks easily. The breasts cut into slices & ready to serve.
  3. It can be served: Spread the sliced iceberg lettuce on the flat plates, then add the zucchini cubes, the black salsify & the slices from the breasts. Cover them with grated cheese, next to them the hot tomatoes with panicles (the eyes eat too). Spread some of the gravy from the pan on top, peel the egg, cut it in half and put it on the plate as well. Decorated with a flowering branch of rosemary and a leaf and a blossom of wild garlic.
  4. I did not use a dressing in this salad because the gravy, for me personally, goes better with the warm tomatoes and meat and there is enough. Since this is a matter of taste, everyone can decide for themselves whether or not to do without a dressing. Me and my guest liked it and I hope to find someone here who tries to cook it again.
  5. I hope I haven’t forgotten anything in my rz description, if YES then it’s no problem, you know how to find me. Write to me and any questions can be answered, I would also be happy to give you a tip. I wish you good appetite, your tine
