Ingredients

  • 5 Potatoes
  • 2 L Water
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Caraway seed
  • 1 Diced onion
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 150 g Streaky bacon
  • 1,5 tbsp Flour
  • 250 ml Water
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • Nutmeg
  • 1 kg Meat loaf

Instructions

  • Bake meat cheese in the oven at 160 ° C for about 75 minutes. Is it ready to bake, e.g. at Globus! Tip: Is also very nice on birthdays or New Year's Eve.
  • Bring the water with oil, caraway seeds, salt and potatoes to a boil. Then cook the potatoes for about 20 minutes on medium heat.
  • The oil makes it easier to peel the potatoes.
  • Drain the potatoes, peel and cut into thin slices.
  • Fry the bacon in oil, not too dark. Add the onion and let it run, then add the flour and sauté briefly.
  • Fill up with water, season. Add vinegar, potatoes and parsley. Switch off just keep warm.
  • After about 70 minutes, do a cooking test on the meat loaf, it should be 70 ° C. Then cut into slices. We use the rest the next day (sometimes cold).
