- 5 Potatoes
- 2 L Water
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Caraway seed
- 1 Diced onion
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 150 g Streaky bacon
- 1,5 tbsp Flour
- 250 ml Water
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- Nutmeg
- 1 kg Meat loaf
Instructions
- Bake meat cheese in the oven at 160 ° C for about 75 minutes. Is it ready to bake, e.g. at Globus! Tip: Is also very nice on birthdays or New Year's Eve.
- Bring the water with oil, caraway seeds, salt and potatoes to a boil. Then cook the potatoes for about 20 minutes on medium heat.
- The oil makes it easier to peel the potatoes.
- Drain the potatoes, peel and cut into thin slices.
- Fry the bacon in oil, not too dark. Add the onion and let it run, then add the flour and sauté briefly.
- Fill up with water, season. Add vinegar, potatoes and parsley. Switch off just keep warm.
- After about 70 minutes, do a cooking test on the meat loaf, it should be 70 ° C. Then cut into slices. We use the rest the next day (sometimes cold).
