Indian beef stew with beans and peanuts

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g minced beef
  • 1 onion(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cm ginger, chopped
  • ½ can coconut milk
  • 1 carrot(s), cut into strips
  • 1 can beans, green (or fresh, precooked)
  • 1 handful of peanuts, salted or fresh
  • 1 dashes lime juice
  • 2 tsp spice mix (garam masala)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Sauté the minced meat with the diced onion and finely chopped ginger, season with salt and pepper. Deglaze the meat with the coconut milk, then add the carrot strips and bring to a boil briefly. Season to taste with the spices and lime juice. Finally, stir in the green beans and let them warm through. Serve sprinkled with peanuts. Serve with mie noodles or rice. Instead of garam masala, you can also create your own spice blend using the following spices and use them in this recipe: turmeric, coriander, cumin, chili, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and fennel.
