Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ bottle of rum flavoring
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g potato starch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g almonds, ground
  • 75 g candied lemon peel
  • 50 g candied orange peel
  • 100 g chocolate chips
  • Fat and breadcrumbs for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs and rum flavoring and mix well. Combine the flour, potato starch, and baking powder and stir in. Finally, fold in the almonds, chocolate, candied lemon, and candied orange peel. Pour the batter into a greased 26cm springform pan dusted with breadcrumbs and bake at medium heat (170°C top/bottom heat) for 65 to 85 minutes. Do the toothpick test, as every oven is different.
