Cocktail from the island of Madeira

Dip the rim of the glass into lemon juice and then into the sugar. Pour all ingredients into the glass and stir vigorously until the honey has dissolved. In Madeira, stirring is done in a large bowl with a special wooden stick. Poncha is usually served unchilled. Of course, you can also add ice cubes while stirring and remove them afterwards. The actual ratio of the ingredients also varies, so just experiment.
