Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g wheat
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp ginger, freshly grated
  • 50 g butter
  • 150 g sour cream, lukewarm
  • 100 ml cream, lukewarm
  • 100 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 1 tbsp cumin and sesame seeds, mixed
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Finely grind the wheat and mix with the spices. Dissolve the yeast in the cream and add it to the flour along with the honey. Mix everything well. Knead the butter, sour cream, and gradually add the water into the dough. Let it rise for 20 minutes. Shape the dough into flatbreads with wet hands and sprinkle with caraway seeds and sesame seeds. Let it rise for another 10 minutes on a greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes.
