Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 small white cabbage
- 1 carrot(s)
- 2 bell peppers, red and green
- 1 pepper, hot, cut into fine rings
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin, whole (alternatively caraway)
- salt and pepper

Vegetarian dish from Indian cuisine, prepared in a flash
Clean all the vegetables and cut them into very fine strips. Heat the oil and fry the cumin and mustard seeds for 2-3 minutes. Caution: The mustard seeds will “jump” in the pan; cover immediately with a splatter screen! Add the vegetables and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes. Season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Serve with Indian-style rice (see recipe in my profile).
