Intermediate Course: Salmon Packet

The perfect intermediate course: salmon packet recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Wild salmon
  • 50 g Goat cream cheese
  • 1 Spring onion
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 pinch Smoked salt
  • 1 Puff pastry roll
  • Herbal salt for fish
  • 0,5 Egg
  • Butter
  1. Since I had frozen salmon, it had to be defrosted first (in the refrigerator). Then cut once lengthways.
  2. Clean the spring onions, quarter them lengthways and cut them very finely. Mix with cream cheese, lemon juice and salt.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 4 pieces.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture in the middle.
  5. Season the salmon on all sides and place on the cheese mixture.
  6. Whisk the egg and brush the edges of the dough with it.
  7. Fold the dough over the salmon, leave a little bit open. Then brush completely with egg.
  8. Place on a buttered baking sheet. (My shape was a little too small, better leave a little space.)
  9. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 20-25 minutes.
