  • Bread is even better and healthier if it is made from sourdough. Then it has a high calcium content, which helps to build bones. Other healthy nutrients in rye include zinc, iodine, and fluorine. All minerals are important for our body and should be consumed regularly.

Wholemeal bread – the healthiest type of bread

  • It’s true: With pure wholemeal bread, you eat the healthiest type of bread. The grains, more precisely the germ, and the shell, contain many nutrients. These include, for example, fiber, zinc, iron, and, above all, magnesium. The latter contributes to and supports the proper functioning of muscles and nerves.
  • Whole grain bread contains a high amount of fiber. They ensure a feeling of satiety and also support intestinal activity. Regular consumption of whole grains improves the cardiovascular system and reduces the chance of being overweight.
