Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g minced beef
- 2 bell peppers, red
- 1 ½ liters vegetable broth, instant
- 375 g rice
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Rice stew with minced meat
Wash the peppers, remove the white inner membranes, and dice them. Brown the meat in a little oil in a large pot. Add the diced peppers and fry briefly. Deglaze with the broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the rice, season with tomato paste and pepper, and simmer for about 30 minutes over medium heat to allow the rice to swell.
