Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 ml vegetable oil
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla (bourbon vanilla)
- 2 eggs
- 60 g flour
- 5 tbsp, levelled cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 60 g walnuts, finely chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
with finely chopped walnuts and bourbon vanilla
Combine the oil, sugar, and bourbon vanilla in a bowl and beat until creamy. Gradually add the eggs, flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, and nuts and mix well. Grease a 23 x 23 cm square pan, pour in the batter, and smooth it out. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 20-25 minutes. Let the cake cool in the pan and cut into squares. The nuts can be added to the batter, but are optional.
