Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 20 m.-sized potatoes
  • 1 pack of smoked ham
  • 3 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 pack of grated Gouda
  • some butter
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Wash the potatoes and cook them in a large pot with their skins on. Drain the water and let the potatoes cool. You can also cook the potatoes a day in advance. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200°C fan/convection oven and grease the casserole dish with butter. Mix the sour cream and sour cream together and season with salt, pepper, and oregano. If you like, you can also stir in a few chili flakes. Peel the cooled potatoes and slice them. Arrange half of the potatoes in the casserole dish, spread the chopped ham on top, add half of the sour cream and sour cream, and spread half of the cheese on top. Repeat this process, finishing with the cheese. Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
