Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g butter
- 120 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 eggs
- 250 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 jar jam, to taste, for spreading
- 150 g flour
- 50 g almonds, ground
- 75 g sugar
- 100 g butter, melted
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Streusel cake
Using a hand mixer, cream the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt until light and fluffy, until the sugar has dissolved. Beat in the 4 eggs until the mixture forms a thick paste. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in one at a time. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the dough evenly. Preheat the oven to 160°C fan/convection oven. Now spread the jam evenly over the dough, if desired. For the crumble, put the remaining ingredients in a bowl and, using the dough hook of a hand mixer, mix into crumbles and spread over the jam. Place the tray in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes.
