Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g margarine or butter
- 180 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
- 40 g cocoa powder
- 125 ml milk
- 250 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- Fat, for the shape
- 4 egg whites
- 150 g sugar
- 200 g desiccated coconut
- 2 tbsp rum
- 200 g cake icing, dark
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Preheat the oven to 175°C and grease a springform pan. Mix the ingredients for the batter into a sponge mixture and pour half into the springform pan. For the filling, combine the coconut flakes, sugar, and rum. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the coconut mixture. Pour the coconut mixture into the springform pan, leaving 1 cm free from the edges. Cover with the remaining batter. Bake time: 60 minutes. Once cooled, cover with chocolate icing. Tip: The cake will only fully set after 2 days.
