Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 100g bacon
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 2 red bell peppers
- 2 tbsp oil
- 150 g rice (long grain rice)
- 200 g tomatoes (from a can)
- 200 ml chicken broth
- Salt
- pepper
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- 250 g shrimp
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 1 bunch of thyme
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cut the bacon into thin strips. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Trim, wash, and roughly chop the bell pepper. Fry the bacon in hot oil. Add the vegetables and sauté. Add the rice, tomatoes, and broth. Season everything and cook for 15 minutes. Add the shrimp and heat for another 5 minutes. Stir in the herbs.
