Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 rolls
  • 2 tbsp, heaped dip (cheese dip) or cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp, heaped butter
  • n. B. Herbs of Provence
  • e.g. garlic, chopped
  • 16 slices of breakfast bacon

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

filled with herb butter and cheese

First, melt the butter. In the meantime, cut several slits side by side in the rolls (the deeper the better). Mix the herbs and garlic with the butter and drizzle over the rolls. Then spread the cheese in the spaces between them. Press the rolls together and wrap each one with four slices of bacon. Wrap in aluminum foil and place on the grill for about 10-15 minutes. The buns are ready when the bacon is crispy and the cheese is oozing out between them. Alternatively, bake without aluminum foil in a preheated oven at 150 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
