simple and delicious

Peel the carrots, potatoes, and onion and cut into equal-sized cubes. Place everything in a large pot. Then add the broth and the mettenden sausages. Place the spices in a tea strainer and hang them in the pot. The ground pepper is for seasoning, so you can adjust the amount. Heat everything until the stew boils, then simmer over medium heat for about 1.5 hours. Tip: Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight; this will make the stew taste even better.
