Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 80 g pickled gherkins
- 70 g onion(s), white
- 300 g mayonnaise, firm, at least 50 g fat
- 20 g Dijon mustard
- 10 g curry powder
- 10 g sugar
- 10 g balsamic vinegar, light
- 25 g curry ketchup from Hela
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Chop the gherkins into very small cubes and drain. Chop the onion into very small cubes and set aside. Mix the mayonnaise and the remaining ingredients until the sugar and curry powder have dissolved. Fold in the drained gherkins and onions. Tips: The Joppie sauce will keep refrigerated for about a week. It goes very well with fries, sweet potato fries, and as a sauce for burgers, sandwiches, or wraps. 1 serving is approximately 85 g.
