Juicy Berry Brownies

- 200 g Dark chocolate
- 250 g Butter
- 5 Eggs
- 230 g Cane sugar
- 220 g Flour
- 30 g Cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 150 g Mixed frozen berries
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C with top and bottom heat. Line the baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter with the chocolate. (I always do this in the microwave in suitable dishes from Tupperware) And otherwise in a saucepan on the stove over low heat with constant stirring.
- Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy.
- Mix the flour with cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
- Mix the flour mixture with the egg-sugar mixture and the butter-chocolate mixture. (Butter-chocolate mixture must have cooled down a bit)
- Now pour the dough into the mold and smooth it out if necessary.
- Finally, sprinkle the berries over the cake and press a little into the batter.
- Bake for about 50-55 minutes. (Could take a little longer, but definitely do a chopstick test after 55 minutes) To serve, dust with a little icing sugar.
