Juicy Berry Brownies

The perfect juicy berry brownies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Dark chocolate
  • 250 g Butter
  • 5 Eggs
  • 230 g Cane sugar
  • 220 g Flour
  • 30 g Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 150 g Mixed frozen berries
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C with top and bottom heat. Line the baking pan with parchment paper.
  1. Melt the butter with the chocolate. (I always do this in the microwave in suitable dishes from Tupperware) And otherwise in a saucepan on the stove over low heat with constant stirring.
  1. Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy.
  1. Mix the flour with cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
  1. Mix the flour mixture with the egg-sugar mixture and the butter-chocolate mixture. (Butter-chocolate mixture must have cooled down a bit)
  1. Now pour the dough into the mold and smooth it out if necessary.
  1. Finally, sprinkle the berries over the cake and press a little into the batter.
  1. Bake for about 50-55 minutes. (Could take a little longer, but definitely do a chopstick test after 55 minutes) To serve, dust with a little icing sugar.
